Program Info
The program provides a supportive, stimulating and challenging environment for self-motivated learners. Students are encouraged to develop their intellect by emphasizing critical thinking skills, analytical writing, cooperative learning, and open format projects. The program has been designed to meet the needs of above average ability students who are interested in working with other self-motivated students.

Flex Humanities students are independent, creative, divergent thinkers and learners, who can and want to work independently in a project-based learning environment, and who can and want to work in cooperative groups.
Within the program, we work collaboratively, in a dynamic learning environment. Students are encouraged to pursue self-selected topics, which have personal, intellectual, and social relevance. At the beginning of each year, all students attend camp at the UBC Loon Lake Resource Center. At the end of grade 12 students participate in curriculum based field study to New York. |
